Please understand that wood never dies. It is forever changing in colour, texture and shape. This is the case with most types of wood but more so with reclaimed timber. Cracks, colour changes and weathering may occur. Bleached cannot be held responsible for small changes that do not affect the functionality of the product.
Because we use recycled or reclaimed timber, imperfections are intentional. It gives each piece character and beautiful detail. It’s the imperfections that make our product perfect in our eyes. We love the organic look and feel it creates. Expect small cracks and nail holes, as most of our wood we use used to be some old house’s roof trusses!
Most wood does not like to be submerged in water. A little water is fine, but please don’t put cheese boards and wooden items in the dishwasher or leave your table legs in a puddle of water. This will degrade the items and possibly damage them beyond repair.
